You Dark horse

Ain't no Oldy Goldy Part 6/7

The cloudy eye: Instead of the smokey eye that been bashed ever so beautifully by us all (this isn't me saying there is anything wrong with it but more we need to use it sparingly and at the right time of the day) why not try a cloudy eye... same technique but softer colours.

The day time smokey eye not only confuses the people around us wondering if you are on your way to dance up a storm and hit the cosmos in a big way, it also is ageing a few of us when its done heavy handed.
Night time smokey eyes are a bit hot to trot but the day time smokey eye is creating shadows in all the wrong places under direct sunlight... its a quick wrinkle and sag enhancement so to speak.
Now since this look is a winner in its own right its really just in need of tweaking and adjusting...

Lighten up darling... literally! for those with darker features- take your black tones to browns and golds, blondes- give the bronze and and a matt nude a nudge and hey you.... yes you! you beautiful red head- try the bronze and the smallest hint of olive in the corners, play to your strengths...

Same technique just a softer pallet to boot.

and if you are gonna go all MAC sales consultant on your day look do make sure you prime those lids! nothing worst than you face sliding off half way through the day.

Smashbox has an awesome lid primer that i was sent a while ago to review and i have since  bought 4 tubes of it and refuse to use anything else on my clients.
